Architect's View
Nether Auchans is set within one of the most beautiful areas of the west coast of Scotland. Individual sites have been designed to take full advantange of the views of this sepctacular setting. Although the Planning Authority have been quite careful to ensure that the eventual buildings to each plot follow specific guidelines this does not in any way stifle any orginiality of design: Designs that have already been approved for Plots 2 & 3 bear testament to this.
Five sites have been created that share common facilities and access arrangements. The use of existing landform and planting, reinforced with specific new planting ensure clear separation, both physical and visual, between individual plots. The best of both worlds - your own private world but neighbours not too far away when you need them.
The aim has always been not just to create a small "community", captialising on the amazing setting and shared facilities, but to provide for the purchasers an opportunity to embrace a whole new way of life.
